Dr. Irina Dobsyuchuk obtained the position of invited professor of the Department of business and logistics by the authority № 934/11.12.2017
of the rector of Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman.

Starting from 2015 onwards, Dr. Irina Dovbyshuk has taken an active part in the creation of a joint German-Ukrainian Master’s Programme in Logistics which opened in 2018 at KNEU. Since 2016, the four-year international programme GUMLog  has been implemented with the participation of the “Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman”, the University of Bremen and the Uman National University of Horticulture under the coordination of Dr. Irina Dovbyshuk, with a total budget of 200,000 Euros. Financing of the project will end in 2019, but Dr. Irina Dovbyshuk, alongside with Ukrainian partners, plans to continue implementing it with the help of additional funding and new partners. With the assistance of Dr. Irina Dovbyshuk, more than 20 students from 2016 have already received scholarships for a month at the University of Bremen. From 2019, a two-way student exchange is planned on a semester basis.

It is worth noting that Ukrainian partners together with Prof. Dr. Irina Dovbyshuk are constantly working on finding additional funding from private enterprises and international funds to provide scientific and educational activities.

Prof. Dr. Irina Dovbyshuk plans in the future:

  • to conduct lectures on “Transport logistics” in the master’s programme of “Logistics”, which will start in 2018 in KNEU;
  • to promote cooperation of the State University “Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman” and the University of Bremen;
  • to promote attraction of finances with the purpose of realization of scientific and educational activity of the department of commercial activity and logistics.
